Desert Cross Refuge

 Sometimes darkness seems to be all around us. Sometimes only evil seems to be present. Sometimes life seems to be heavy trials, sorrows, and woes... Yet through life's rough trails, the King of Glory calls, Through the day's wickedness, the Savior offers hope and forgiveness, Through the shadowlands, the Light of the World shines His light through us into the darkest places. So let us stand in His Light and watch the evil flee before Him! ~ Nightwatch Refuge 

 "I look towards the hills.  Where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD God, maker of Heaven and Earth." As we journey through the shadowlands, Along life's rough trails, Over the mesas and mountains tall, Only to see the valleys below... Are we looking towards the One  Who knows the beginning from the end? Are we clinging to the Alpha and Omega, Who is our Daddy Father? Are we calling out to He Who guides us through life's shadows into Heaven's light? No matter where you are at on life's trails, call out to Jesus. He will meet you where you are at, and help you get to where you are going. ~ Nightwatch Refuge Team

In the stillness... In the quiet... In the times of rest... Between the saving and the calling... Between the calling and the serving... Between the promise and the healing... Sometimes, it is those times that can seem the longest. Stuck between the knowing and the going. Sometimes, it is those times of still when the roar dies down, that God's voice comes through the strongest. It is in those times... We stop. We listen. We learn. God is always there in the still small voice, if we but train our hearts to listen. Are you in one of those times? Lean deep into God, and may He guide you forward. Do you not know if God's, for Him to meet you in the stillness? Call us to Jesus to save you in the midst of everything,  for He waits for you to call upon Him.  Dear Friends, Family, and Shadowlands Dwellers, Greetings from the Shadowlands! It has been nearly 15 years since Morria has in-depth been involved in leading subculture ministry via the old "Shaddow Cross Ministry" , but in that time a lot has changed.  In December 2007 she married Robby "JesusFreak".  After serving a summer at Broken Arrow Bible Ranch in New Mexico, they interned at Project 12 via Jesus People USA , before moving to New Mexico and Arizona to serve for 10 years as missionaries among Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, and Apache youth. 2017 saw them return East to Kentucky and Tennessee.  Currently, Robby is in training via the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches in church planting, and after graduation in 2024, plans on returning to NW New Mexico for a church plant via them.  Robby will also serve as an on-call pastor/chaplain. Morria  graduated with her AA in Biblical Studies in 2007, and as of 2021 has been ordained as a missionary-teacher. ...
