A New Begginning

 Dear Friends, Family, and Shadowlands Dwellers,

Greetings from the Shadowlands!

It has been nearly 15 years since Morria has in-depth been involved in leading subculture ministry via the old "Shaddow Cross Ministry", but in that time a lot has changed.  In December 2007 she married Robby "JesusFreak".  After serving a summer at Broken Arrow Bible Ranch in New Mexico, they interned at Project 12 via Jesus People USA, before moving to New Mexico and Arizona to serve for 10 years as missionaries among Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, and Apache youth. 2017 saw them return East to Kentucky and Tennessee.  Currently, Robby is in training via the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches in church planting, and after graduation in 2024, plans on returning to NW New Mexico for a church plant via them.  Robby will also serve as an on-call pastor/chaplain.

Morria graduated with her AA in Biblical Studies in 2007, and as of 2021 has been ordained as a missionary-teacher.  After a few months of teaching via her pastor and women's group at Circle C Cowboy Church, Morria is stepping out again and helping found Desert Cross Refuge.

Desert Cross Refuge is a ministry working in and among the subcultural underground.  It will be a Christian Subculture Alliance committed to awareness, fellowship, and awareness in the Subculture communities, in local churches, and beyond.  The ministry will operate via online outreach - vlogs, FB page & group, and the blog; the Antioch Bag project, our future ministry center (bookstore, tea & coffee room, and music/ministry venue), and subculture missionaries serving in the shadowlands of the subcultural underground.   We hope to partner with local churches and ministries to further the reach we have.
